Why Tomorrow Never Comes...

Growth is hard. Especially hard when it involves change. I know most of us have been at a point in our lives where we knew we needed to make a tough and drastic decision to reach our full potential but that pesky thing called fear paralyzed us from taking the first step.

In these situations WE ARE OUR OWN WORST ENEMY.

We tell ourselves reason after reason why now is not the right time. Here are just a handful of the excuses you will make to yourself when faced with this situation.

The Timing Is Off, I Don't Have Everything Lined Up

All people love to say they live for today and not for tomorrow, but the real reason we tell ourselves this is because we want to delay doing anything that requires diligent effort and hard work. The sad truth is the longer you wait to do anything you should do now the greater the chance you will never do it.

I'm Scared It Won't Work Out

Those who dare to do great and meaningful things know up front that they will fail at some aspect along the way. Avoiding mistakes doesn't bring you success, it keeps the lid on your current level of growth.

I've Grown Before, What Makes Now Any Different?

Growth doesn't just happen. Most of us think we will grow naturally, as if by just waking up everyday we grow smarter and wiser. The sad truth is that almost 90% of us have no purposeful plan for self improvement. Everybody says they want to fix their problems, but few do anything intentional to make that happen. If you don't make a plan to help yourself personally grow, you can kiss those hopes and dreams goodbye.

I'm Just Not Motivated To Make The Change

The reason why there are winners and losers in life is simple. Winners do what it takes to get motivated and understand the inescapable amount of pain that will come with that decision. But any pain endured throughout a journey of growth is far better than to suffer the pain of regret later.

I Don't Know How To Do It All To Succeed

Here's a fun fact. The average person spends more time planning their family vacations than planning their personal growth strategy. It's sad but people are unwilling to bet on themselves and would rather rely on others to invest in them. The reason why most never reach their dreams is because they are unwilling to put their own time, money, and reputation on the line in order to get what they want. If your not willing to bet on yourself, why should anyone else? That lack of self confidence and belief is what keeps others on the sidelines envious of those running up the field.

Chase Your Dreams.

If You Don't, You Will End Up Chasing Someone Else's.
